Deesca is a mobile app that helps couples move from conflict to clarity using AI-assisted mediation, coaching, and reflection.
To provide and personalize the app, generate AI guidance, remember context across sessions, enforce fair-use limits, process subscriptions, and maintain security. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Voice recordings are sent for transcription, then discarded — we do not retain the raw audio. The resulting text is stored as your session/journal content.
Deesca's core features work by sending the content you choose to submit to trusted third-party AI providers, which generate your guidance. Before any of your content is sent to these providers, we ask for your explicit consent inside the app — you are shown a clear disclosure of what is sent and to whom, and you must agree before Deesca proceeds. You can withdraw at any time by deleting your account (see “Your rights & choices”).
What we send, and to whom:
We send only the relationship content you choose to submit. We do not send your email address or other account identifiers to these AI providers, and all transmission is over encrypted connections.
Equal protection. We only share your data with third parties that are contractually bound to protect it to at least the same standard described in this policy. Anthropic and OpenAI process your data under their commercial API terms, which do not use your content to train their models. Your content is never sold and is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data is stored on Supabase with row-level security so each user can access only their own rows. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on account deletion.
Deesca is not directed to anyone under 17 (or the age of digital consent in your region).
